AMUSEMENTS.

HEWITT PICTURES. The films at present 'being shown at the Theatre include a number of interesting subjects, and need to be seen to be fully appreciated. "Our Indian Empire" is a picture of great educational value. Another wonderful film is "Panther Hunting." showing one of these huge cats being hunted, trapped and skinned. The dramas are a fine lot, while the comics are just what are needed in the .present depressing weather. The .programme was enjoyed liy ft good audience last evening, and will be repeated this evening for the last time. On Wednesday evening an entire change will be submitted.
