SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' ■weather summary and forecast. The barometer 'litis ibeen very low and unsteady in the south, though it has risen everywhere during the past 24 hours. Strong westerly winds land rough weather has been experienced generally. The present indications are for a further rise in .pressure, with strong southerly winds and cold and showery weather, as a prelude to fine weather everywhere. The end of the week, however, is likely to be unsettled, especially in the south.
