Never before has a New Plymouth store been so continually crowded as has the popular "H. 8." establishment since the commencement of their great salvage sale. There is good reason for it, however, for never before has such value been offered to the Taranaki public in men's and boys' clothing and ladies', men's, and children's footwear. Messrs. Ambury Bros, have an advertisement in this issue dealing with their exceedingly large stock of winter wearing apparel. In eveiy conceivable line the firm has made its preparations for a good season's business, and the public have been quick to appreciate the enterprise, splendid service, and tip-top value which mark the business of this popular establishment. There are some very lino window displays at their premises just now, notably that dealing with ladies' evening wear, whilst mothers find much t«. interest them in the woollen jersey suits for the little chaps. Men's and boys' iwear is the eare of a separate »taff in its own distinct department, and there is a fine stock.—Advt.
