SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast is as follows:—The barometer has fallen everywhere, especially in the south. Easterly winds have prevailed, with cloudy and wet weather, especially in the Nortfh Island'. The present indications are for a "further fall, precede ing a rise in pressure, the winds changing to the southward, and increasing strong to a gale. Showery and changeable weather expected generally, and snow probable in high country by tomorrow night.
