CONSIDERABLE MORTALITY AND DAMAGE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Ottawa, May 9. A fire caused an explosion of dynamite at a factory at Hull, in Quebec, wrecking the adjacent houses and burying people in the ruins. The concussion was so great that hundreds of plate-glass windows in Ottawa were broken. Twenty people were killed and 30 injured at Hull.
