SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, j The Rev. D. C. Bates this afternoon issued tfhe following weather summary and forecast:—The barometer has fallen everywhere, and especially north of East Cape and Kawhia, where heavy rain and easterly gales have been experienced. Wet and gloomy weather has also been reported in many other parts, with variable winds. The present judications are for a further fall in the barometer everywhere, with Tain in most parts of the country, and especially on piß East Coast. Strong easterly winds are probable in the north, and southeasterly elsewhere, but freshening northerlies may be expected shortly in th<? south for a westerly area of low pressure due on Wednesday.
