R. jNuku Tamati (Whakatane) and 'J. Lewis (ITawke's Bav). and D.Harris i(Thames). Forwards :" ' J. Prince (Southland), K. Tlpene (Otago), W. Winiafa (Horowhenua), A . Takarangi (Wanganui), Tamu, J. Pini and J. Martin (Taranaki), W. Cunningham and J. Hall (Auckland), T. Petane (RoWua), RPhillips (Tauranga), W. Eiurnett, R. Wirepa and B. Turei (Povarty Bay). One other player has yet to be chosen. The team, which 'has been chosen solely from descendants of (the Maori race, is reckoned to be a vlery strong one.
