SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Rev. D. C Bates' weather summary and forecast: The weather has been generally changeable, showery in parts and overcast in the far north. A south-easterly gale and rsiTi are reported this evening from Cape Brett. The present indications are foi stormy weather in the north, easterly winds, strong tq a gale, and much rain is probable northward of East Cape onn Kawhia. Southerly winds, moderate to strong, thence to Cape Farewell and Kaikoura, and northerly winds prevailing elsewhere. The weather will probably be showery and misty on the East Coast, and changeable elsewhere.
