ENGINE DRIVER SERIOUSLY HURT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. An engine driver named Thomaa PXfa> gle, -whilst driving a goods train on ttfe south line to-day, met with a serious accident. His head came in contact witk an overhead bridge at Hornby. He had three ribs broken and sustained concussion of the brain. INJURED BY DYNAMITE. Auckland, Last Night? At Hunua to-day a youth named MS* ward Hesserman. sixteen years of was tampering with a dynamite cap, when it exploded, shattering his left hand.
