The- Court has suspended the certificate •f Captain Hugill, master of the Satara, for six months. AN UNJUSTIFIABLE PRACTICE. Received May 5, 9.35 p.m. Sydney, Last Night. Captain Hugill's suspension dates from the day of the wreck. Judge Back-house declared that' the custom iof handing vessels going through Torres Strait over to the charge of"a pilot directly they left port was justified neither by law nor good navigation.
