Hewitt Pictures to-night. Full particulars of the Good Templar Fair is given in our advertising columns. Mr. Okey.M.P., with his usual sympathy, will .open the fair on Wednesday next at ±3O .p.m. We would remind our readers that the fair is in aid of the new Good Templar Hall. The annual meeting of the Taranaki I Acclimatisation Society will be held at ' the Borough Council Chambers on 10th i May, at 7.30 p.m. All friends interested in the Taranaki No-License League are invited to attend at Whitelev Schoolroom this evening to meet 'the Rev. F. W. Isitt. Messrs. Sanderson and Griffiths, architects, invite tenders, to close 12th May, for the erection of a motor garage at Okato. Day by day there are being sent out from White and .Sons' as smart and tasteful dresses and costumes to measure as are to he seen executed by any firm in the Dominion. To tho»e who have not seen the class of workmanship this firm are capable of accomplishing in their dress rooms, it will be a revelation to know that local industry can do so well.
