Mr. Wade stated that the Government had been /waiting to see the effect of the compulsory Saturday half-holiday in Victoria, and experience proved that it had not caused dislocation of business as predicted. After weighing /the question from the .standpoint of public interest the Government proposed to introduce the Saturday Half-holiday Bill during .the forthcoming session.
