SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Rev 1 . D. C. Bates' ■weather, summary and forecast: —There has been only a small decrease in the barometric pressure, and the winds have been moderate to strctg. and chiefly from the northward. Showery weather has been experienced in parts, and especially in the south. The present indications are for strong easterly winds northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and northerly prevailing elsewhere. The barometer will probably fall everywhere and showery and changeable weather prevail in most parts of the country.
