DISTRICT NEWS
KENT ROAD. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The annual meeting 'of householders was held in the Kent School on Monday night, April 25th. There was a very fair attendance and a considerable *mount of interest was taken by all present. Twelve were nominated, and the result of the ballot was—J. R. Rowlands 15, Jas. Batten 13, Walter Chatterton 12, A. Chong 11, F. Chellings 10, John Batten 10, S. Puekridgc 9, J." Henderson 7, W. Cooper 8, H. "Bundle 8, C. Southcombe 5. The first seven were accordingly elected. Mr. Rowlands was again appointed chairman.
