Wool.—At the sales yesterday there was animated bidding, and prices were the highest of the series. Sales included Mortvi, top price 12d, average 10% d; and Tekoa, 12M>d and ll%d. lo date 48,984 bales have been catalogued and 45,131 sold. The report of W. and A. McArthur and Co., Ltd., shows a profit of £5450. A dividend of s>/ s per cent, was on preference shares; £2OOO was added to reserve, and £4OO carried forward.
