Onehunga, Last Night. —Sailed, at 3.35 p.m., Rarawa, for New Plymouth, crossing the bar at 5.20 p.m. Passengers: Mesdamcs Jcnkmson (2), Misses Rampton and Schnaekenberg, Messrs. J. Morrison, Jenkinson, E. Ifwerson, H. M. Shepherd, I. Bayly, J. W. Kettle well, J. G. Fearon, and 10 sterage. Pieton, Last Night.—Sailed, at 8.30 p.m., Te Anau, for New Plymouth. Nelson, Last Night. Sailed, at 8.5 p.m., Corinna, for New Plymouth. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond arrived from Wellington and Pieton aoout S o'clock yesterday morning, bringing 140 tons of cargo, including 100 cases of kerosene, 125 sacks of chaff, 50 bales of hay, and 50 sacks of malt. The vessel got away for Onehunga sit 2 p.m. and returns to-morrow to load cheese for transhipment at Wellington.
The Te Anau is due from Pieton this morning at half-past ten. The steamer is drawing 10ft 3in on her present loading. The Corinna left Nelson at 7 o'clock last night for New Plymouth. She has 557 tons of general cargo for this port. To-day is the anniversary of the wreck of the Harriet, which met with disaster off Cape Egmont in 1834. There will be no boat from New Plymouth on Friday next, as the Rarawa will then be undergoing her periodical boiler cleaning. The master of the Mangapapa advised the Marine Department from New Plymouth that at 2 p.m. on the 25th insf., twenty miles north of Stephen Island, he passed a newly-painted capsized boat, with red bottom and white top, and about fifteen feet in length.
