NOTICES OF MOTION. A notice of motion given at the last annual meeting, that the Management Committee, except the secretary, consist of members who are not players, was then brought forward. After discussion, in which members were of opinion that it would be advantageous to have non-players as delegates, yet as Saturday football was in its- infancy, it would be difficult to get non-players to take sufficient interest. The motion was lost.
A further notice of motion that the secretary be not allowed to vote, was unanimously carried, the opinion being that as the secretary was not a delegate, one club would have two votes if the secretary were allowed a vote.
