Napier, Last Night. At Hastings the weather' was nne today, but bitterly cold, for the opening of the Hawlce's Bay Jockey Club's Autumn meeting. The course was in good order. Nineteen bookmakers were licensed at £2O 10s each. The sum of £6631 10s was handled bv the totalisator, as against £0.386 for the first day of last year.
