THE HAGUE CONFERENCE
DEPUTATION TO MR. ROOSEVELT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Received April 28, 0.20 a.m. Paris, April 27. M. Destournelles de Constant, diplomatist and delegate to the Hague Conference, heading a deputation to Mr. Roosevelt at Paris, urged him to continue liis useful initiative to facilitate the international programme of arrangements prior to the third Hague Conference. Mr. Roosevelt replied that he was merely a private individual and an exstatesmen, but subject to this reservation he was in entire agreement with themselves concerning the necessity of a third conference.
