SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weather summary and forecast: —The weather on the east coast between vno East Cape and Kaikoura has continued cloudy, chilly, and showery in parts, but the weather has been generally fair elsewhere, with little movement of tlie barometer. A storm area appears to be approaching this country southward of Kawhia tend Castlepoint, and the barometer will probably fall soon everywhere, and especially in the South, with freshening northerly winds and unsettled, hazy weather. There arc, however, indications for fair weather and moderate winds in the North.
