Despite the storm of protect from Auckland members, it would appear mat the Government is determined to proceed with its plan for doing away with the Governor's olficial residence in Auckland. The gubernatorial premises have been stripped, and even telephonic communication has been cut. off. It would therefore appear that Auckland is to henceforth 'be without a residene lor Uus this Do minion.
