(a) The particular purpose for which the loan is required is to acquire the land necessary to make that portion of the Kent to Barrett Cross Road situated between the Mangorei and Carring- J ton Eoads «.nd to erect a bridge audi form culverts and fence the land so acquired. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed | for such purpose is £BSO. I (c) The proposed security is a rate of, three-eighths of a penny on the land included in a Special Roll deposited in the office of the Board, and which is bounded on the North by the line running lietween Section 775 and Section 773, Block 9, Paritutu Survey District, on the East by the Mangorei Stream, on the South by the Okurukuru line, and on the West by the Henui Stream; and provision is made for repayment by means of a Sinking Fund in 36»/ 2 years. (d) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the* loan.
