SUMMARY AND FORECAST. B|r Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, April 22. The Rev. D. C. Bates report that a cyclonic disturbance has approached East Cape and caused stwng southerly winds and heavy rain on the East Coast of] the North Island especially. Present j indications are for a steady rise 01 the, barometer over the North Island, with Strong southerly winds and cool and cool and showery weather. A fall in the barometer is due in the south, and strong westerly winds will probably prevail.
