WAREA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) • It is reported that Mr. W. Binnie, of the Puniho road, has sold his farm, together with stock, etc., to Mr. MacEldowney.
The weather during the last week hag •been showery and cold, and the milk supply has considerably decreased. The largest supplier is only taking a little over lOOOlbs daily. The tests are on the increase, the highest last week "being 4.6, while the average for all the suppliers was 4.1. Considerable interest was taken locally in the Powelka trouble at Palmerston North lately. The Egmont County Council's crusher arrived here last Thursday to crush about 250 yds of stone, and a start was made on Tuesday morning. The sixth round for Mr. F. M. Grayling's trophy was fired for at the local rifle range on Saturday last. The weather was fairly fine and six competed. Mr. F. Jenkins put up the biggest score:
