MAYORAL ELECTIONS.

NEW PLYMOUTH. Mr. G. Tisch, being the only candidate nominated for the .Mayoralty of New Plymouth for the ensuing year, is declared duly elected. STRATFORD. At Stratford Messrs. Nat. J. King and Masters were nominated, Dr. Paget's nomination being by some means overlooked.

OTHER PLACES. By Telegraph—Press Association. • Wanganui, Wednesday. Mr. C. E. Mackay has been elected Mayor of Wanganui unopposed for the fifth consecutive year. Mr. John Jones was elected unopposed for Wanganui East. Feilding. Wednesday.

Messrs. E. Goodbehere, G. J. Harford, and J. M..R. Loehliead have been nominated for the office of Mayor.
