NOTED BOATBUILDERS SUFFER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland. LaM Night. A fire occurred in Ctwlonis-slreet, City, to-night, at the premises of Charles Bailey, junior, boatlihilder. and Alf. Bailey, blacksmith, (he stock beini; destroyed. The premises of O. J. Murdoch, woodjoiner. next door, were damaged. Among the stock destroyed in Charles Bailey's premises were several -boats, principally launches. He estimates his loss at over £2OOO. but has policies in the New Zealand Insurance Company's office for £IOOO. Alf. Bailey's loss is estimated at £3OOO.
