Plaintiff, who is niece of defenuant, claimed £101) in respect of alleged breach of agreement between plaintiff and defendant whereby. so it was alleged, defendant agreed,
if plaintiff left' England and came to New Zealand and there acted as defendant's housekeeper, to provide her with a home and leave her by will all his property. Plaintiff sold up, her business in England to carry out the agreement, and found on arrival that defendant's representations as to means, etc.,! were false. Judgment for the full | amount claimed, with costs, wa« given.
