LORD KITCHENER.
WILL NOT VISIT CANADA. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received April 20, 10.55 p.m. Ottawa, April 20. The London Chronicle's correspondent reports that correspondence between Lord Kitchener and Sir Frederick Borden (Canadian Minister for Defence) ihas reference to defence, and will shortly be laid on the table of the Dominion House of Commons.
It is semi-oflicially stated that Lord Kitchener did not find himself wholly in agreement with the Government, hence, his changed route. He has decided not to visit Canada.
