SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By fclegraph.—Pregi Atsocittfon. Wellington, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast: Moderate to strong ■westerly ■winds have predominated. The weather lias been unsettled in both the extreme north and south, and drizzling rain on the west coast of the South Island. There has been a falling tendency, though on the whole there has been little movement of the 'barometer. The present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds with cool and changeable weather generally. The local conditions aTe still somewhat threatening in both extremes, and rain is probable on the west coast and southernmost districts.
