< SCALE OF PAY. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, ki;x Isignt. A district order just issued contains . the following important statement regarding the training of the territorial forces: — (a) For the present the territorial force of the district will train .by corps (viz., regiments or battalions), and where not able to train by carps, tlien bv units (viz., squadrons or companies). (It) Allowances will be as ioHow»':, While in training tamps: For rations, per man per day, 2s; for loraige, per horse per day, Is (hi. l'ay as follows!! For each day spent in" camp, all ranks will be granted the following personal allowances:
Lieutenant-Colonels 15s, majors 12s, 1 captain:-,' 10s, lieutenants (and second lieuteannts) Bsj, sergeants-major tend, staff sergeants ss, sergeants 6s, cor;>s (id, other . ranks 3s.
