ALLEGED LIBEL.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, Last Night. The Mansnvatu Times has received « writ for £5Ol damages for alleged libel in connection with the fire at Millar and Georgi's recently. The writ is issued on behalf of Victor M. Brauml, and the libel is said to be contained m a statement lit Superintendent Warner. of tlie local Fire Brfende, that someone had 'interfered with him at the fire, and published in the report of the fire. A writ, for a similar amount has been issued against Superintendent Warner.
