Hewitt's Pictures to-night The new knitted coats that promise to be popular this season are advertised in this issue by Messrs. Morey and Son. These garments may be seen in their showrooms in all the best and most practical styles for winter wear. Wanganui River Cheap Week-end Excursions—Messrs. Hatrick and Co., proprietors of the fine fleet of Wanganui river steamers, have decided to adopt a system now very popular at Home and on the Continent, viz., cheap week-end excursions. They will therefore, until further notice, run a special Saturday to Monday excursion, Wanganui to Pipiriki and return, including all accommodation, Saturday to Monday, at New Pipiriki House, at the very low rate of 20s. Excursionists can arrive in Wanganui on Friday evening and leave again by the north and south express trains on the Monday. Those who on the Sunday at Pipiriki may desire to visit the famed upper reaches, waterfall, cave, and thermal springs, beyond Pipiriki, a steamer will be put on for this purpose at a specially reduced rate.— Advt.
