A young woman named Daisy ]VIoKelitie appeared before the Court this morning charged' with attempted suicide. inspector Dyer, in asking for a remand, said accused was in service at bastings, and last evening came into town by the express train, and between a 7!'' '--<3 p.m. was seen on the beach going into the sea. Two young men went in after her and took' her to the pohoe station. He communicated with lier father at Mataura. and he would come up and look after her. Accused had been under treatment by a doctor A remand was granted.
