McKenna, First Lord of the Admiralty, replying to Admiral Burgovne, said the date of the laying of the Australian and New Zealand battleships, had been settled by the contractors when the orders were placed. He added, in reply to further questions, that ships forming a part of the Royal Nav\ r would fly the Union Jack. Those forming part 'of the Australian unit would flv such a flag as the Australian Government determined. FOUR AUSTRALIAN DREADNOUGHTS. RY 1913. Received April 15, 12.5 a.m. London, April 14. Four Australian Dreadnoughts will lie completed by 1013.
Preliminary work is necessary in arranging for laving them down before credits are granted.
