Bates summary and forecast:—The barometer has fallen again in the South, and .Stormv weather has been experienced in most parts southward of New Plymouth (anil Napier, especially about Cook and Foveaux Straits. The weather has been somewhat changeable in the North, and westerly winds have prevailed. Present indications are for squally weather and showery weather m most marts, with westerly and southerly Ms, strong to gale. The barometer ■will (probably continue very unsteady, .rising and falling in the next few days.
