Clinstehnreb, April 12. The naked body of a man was found lloating in the l.ytteltori harbour this morning. It was in an advanced stage of decomposition, and had lost the head und one leg. It had evidently been in the water many weeks. A piece of cloth round the loins' looked like tlie remnant of bathing trunk*-, and it is summed that the body was that of a man drowned while bathing. No recent accident of the kind has occurred nt Lvtlelton, and it is suggested that the body may be that of one of two lads drowned at New Brighton on Febrnarv B.
