RESCUERS INJURED.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, April 11. There was an outbreak ot tire >n a house, in Grey street, occupied by Mrs. Davies, on Saturday night. It waa subdued by the brigade when three rooms had been destroyed. Consequent: of a report that there were three children in a back part of the house, .Superintendent Wooley and Deputy-Super-intendent Berry proceeded to investigate. They sustained bums and other injuries; the former was slightly injured, and Mr Berry severely burned. It transpired that the children had been removed to another house.
