FLOATING DEBT £35,200,000. ESTIMATED DEFICIT OF £13,000,000. By Cable—Press Association-HCopyright. London, April 10. Four millions of fresh Treasury bills have been issued, making the floating debt £35,200,000 since the end of October. The interest now amounts to £20,000 per week. The average borrowing last month was four millions per week.
Analysing the whole position, and including taxation in abeyance, the Spectator estimates this year's revenue at ,£162,000,000, and the expenditure at £175,000,000.
