ANOTHER HOUSE BURNT. By Telegrapn.—Press Association. Palmeratotf North, Last Night. Hie firebell rang out just beiore 11 o'clock, and the lire proved to be at Mr Snow's late residence, "Hokowhitu," recently .purchased by Mr Hildus Bergersen, but at present unoccupied. It was a commodious) residence, and was burned to the ground. A swagger was said to have been seen there this afternoon. It is possible to ford the Manawatu river near Snow's House, and a man returning from Pahiatua hills could cross there to avoid the bridge.
