OUTBREAK AT NELSON. By Telegraph.—Presv Association Nelson, Tuesday. A seven-roomed house in Vanguardstreet was burned this morning, presumably from tin* explosion of a kerosene lamp which had been left burning. The house was owned by William Childs and occupied by William Stanley, a soapmakcr. Very little was saved. The family, who have been absent camping, only returned yesterday. Nelson, Ln.st Night. The insurances on the property burnt in the Vanguard-street fire are—House, £IOO in the New Zealand office; and effects, £340 in the State office, including £OO on manufactured soap.
