The <lireelors recommended that in the meantime the machinery be shifted and an attempt he made to secure a. shallow well at an adjacent site. In the present bore oil was struck at. liofdt, but with only one foot of oil sand. ft was resolved that the directors be empowered to put down a further born on the anticline, as dclined by Dr. Hell, near the seepage, and that'the invessary steps be taken to procure the additional -piping roipiircd to put down a deep well at the present site.
