THE SUNKEN KOI. By Telegraph.—Press' Association. Nelson, Last Night. Efforts to raise the sunken steamer Koi have temporarily ceased. The vessel has now been righted, but remains fast in the sand.
PIANO-PLAYING RECORD. Nelson, Last Night. Travis la-it night succeeded in lowering the world's record for endurance in piano-playing. He played continuously for (>1 hours 30 minutes, and received a< great ovation.
COLLECTION Or MOW ZEALAND WOOL. Ohristchurch, Last Night. The Department >n" Agriculture has forwarded to the 'Minister for Foreign Affairs for the Netherlands, at The Hague, a collection of New Zealand wools, comprising merino, Corriedalea, ihalffbreds, and eross'breds of various crosses, Romney, English Leicester, Border Leicester, and Lincoln. A range of samples and the principal grades of slipe wool was also included. The samples were obtained from various parts of the Dominion.
