WOOL STEALING. Sydney, April 2. Steps are being taken to prevent wool-stealing from Sydney stores. It is stated that the loss is over £SOOO yearly.
SOUTH AUSTRALIAN ELECTIONS. Adelaide, April 2. The State elections arc being held today. The Ministerialists have been handicapped by the Premier's sickness, but are hopeful of capturing several seats. The Labor Party are equally hopeful, and claim a good chance of winning three or four seats from the Ministerialists.
