CONGRESS IN SYDNEY. Br Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Sydney, April 2. The Labour Congress' adopted a resolution that the Industrials Disputes • Act should be amended to provide absolute preference to Unionists. The report of the committee dealing with the proposal to establish a Federation of Labour stated that the efforts of the committee had been set at ought by the apathy of the unions generally. Resolutions were carried in favour of compulsory insurance against Sickness, accident, old age, and infirmity, by the State, and also in favour of the proposal to establish a Labour daily newspaper. ■•:.'■.
