THE CORNISH PIXIE. interest in the approaching visit of the miniature man, who will appear here on Monday next, is already being manifested by the sightseers of New Plymouth, and the Pixie's season here promises to create speculation and surprise, lie has no abnormal physical defect, and is as well built and as perfectly formed as the ordinary run of mankind; he is not n dwarf or the kind of mannikin usually seen. He is in full possession of all his faculties, both mental and physical. The premises in Devon-street recently occupied as the. Dominion Tea Rooms will be fitted up as the Pixie's reception-room.
HEWITT PICTURES. Certainly the very finest machine thai has ever projected living pictures on to a screen in the Now Plymouth Theatre Royal is that in use by the Hewitt Pictures in their nightly entertainment. The pictures are illuminated by electricity, and their clearness is a byword. The management has also the reputation of producing a programme of exceptional merit, and that now on the boards at the Theatre is well up to the highest standard. The same programme is "on" to-night for the «wt time.
Mr George Marlowe's new dramatic company will commence a season at the Theatre Royal on April 1.8 The piece to be produced is' to be "Married to the Wrong Man."
