SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By lekgraph—Pre»« Assooi*tion. Wellington, .Last Night Following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:—The wind in the rear of the decreased in force during the night, and moderate southerly winds with cool and changeable weather have prevailed, except in the extreme south, where the conditions have been more unsettled. The present indications are for squalls and unsettled weather in the southernmost districts, but fair weather generally elsewhere. Moderate southerly winds are probable northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and moderate to strong westerly winds elsewhere.
