The woman .Mitchell, witii whom lie lived said she had sent it to Queensland. He suggested that tiie woman had charged him with the murder neeause he had left her. A former cable stated that Brady would be charged with the murder of a child, the mother of whom was the j woman mentioned above. It was alleged j that Brady had twice given poi.-on to tlie child, had then tied a copper v. . e ! round its throat, removed the bladder so that the body would not float, and thrown it into tiie water. «
