EXTENSIVE DAMAGE DONE, 1 By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright I Sydney, March 31. j Norfolk Island reports that a heavy I gale on Monday and yesterday morning did considerable damage. A portion of the whaling sheds was washed away, and three boats are mis'sing. I'he mission shed was damaged, and great, damage was done to verandah roofs and '' fencing, while pine trees were uprooted 1 j all over the island. |
