ROYAL MARRIAGE.
PRINCE VICOR AND PRINCESS CLEMENTINE. Bv Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright Received March 31, 5 p.m. Brussels, March 30. The newspaper Le Soir states that the marriage of Prince Victor Napoleon and Princess' Clementine of Belgium takes place at Farnborough in August. For some years the > Princess Clementine has waited for "Prince" Victor Napoleon. The "Prince" was inorganically united to a French actress, and there are four children. The actress and her children have "retired" in order that the Royal marriage may be facilitated. The late King Leopold forbade the marriage, and it is because of his death it will be consummated. The Princess is said to be good, brsiutiful and beloved in Belgium, and the ■union is popular. The "Prince'' is a great favourite of his aunt, the ex-Empress Eugenie, and frequently visits tier in England. When the "Prince" Imperial was killed in Zululand in 1876, "Prince" Victor said that he would never accept the throne of France unless it was' offered liim by the entire nation. The nation shows no disposition to offer it to anyone.
