For the third day ol the A.J.C. meeting the •weather was fine, and there wag a large attendance. Results:— Second Hurdle Race, of 300 fIOVS; 2%' miles.—Fortnight 1, Treat 2, Pharos 3. Eleven starters. Won by a length. Time, 4min 45y 3 Bec. All-aged Stakes, of 1000 govs, vrlA.% one mile.—Bobrikoff 1, Maltine 2, Malt King 3. Seven started. Maltine, Irishman and Bobrikoff were first away. Irishman and Bright Steel led along tine back, Bobrikoff having fallen back last. At the five furlongs, Bright Steel aid Knoi had a length's lead, and Maltine, •with Bobrikoff still last. There wai «o change, excepting that the field closed up. Up to the time of entering the straight, Maltine had had a slight lead and, taking ndvbntage of an opening, Bobrikoff shot through and won comfortably by four lengths. Time, lmi» 89«(ec. Coogee Handicap, of £3OO sovs; nine furlonge.—Storey 1, Mindful 2, Miss Corelli 3. Sixteen starters. There was a good finish. Won by a neck. Time, lmin 52y 3 eee. Easter Stakes, of 500 govs, for two-year-olds; seven furlongs.—San Styar» 1, Ptah 2, Orodes 3. Ten starters. Wu» by three-quarters of a length. Tim% lmin 2iy 2 see. Cumberland Stakes, of 1000 sovs", w.f.a.; two miles.—Prince Foote 1, Trafalgar 2, Bendil 3. These were the only starters. Won by a length. Time, 3min 43sec. City Handicap, of 500 sovs; on« mile five furlongs.—Janee 1, Didus 2, Daisy Chain 3. Nine starters. Won by a length. Time, 2min 50% sec.
