Maltine, Irishman and Bobrikoff were first away. Irishman and Bright Steel led along tine back, Bobrikoff having fallen back last. At the five furlongs, Bright Steel aid Knoi had a length's lead, and Maltine, •with Bobrikoff still last. There wai «o change, excepting that the field closed up. Up to the time of entering the straight, Maltine had had a slight lead and, taking ndvbntage of an opening, Bobrikoff shot through and won comfortably by four lengths. Time, lmi» 89«(ec.
